On Saturday morning, a lifeless body was found in a house in Solito.

The technical police, the criminal investigation unit, and a forensic doctor were present at the scene to carry out the necessary investigation.

As of now, the identity and even the gender of the person have not yet been confirmed. During the investigation, various items from the house were confiscated.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21).

Bad, vulgar, and negative words degrade the one who uses them. This means that everyone who speaks such words lowers themselves and shows a great lack of education.

If you listen to a song filled with bad, vulgar, or negative language, do not sing along, because you are calling negativity upon yourself. That is why things may not go well for you, because you are declaring evil over your own life.

If you watch a movie full of bad language, it means you are watching things that are wrong, because evil enters your life through what you hear or see.

Bad language is the language of the devil. God has nothing to do with bad words. The intention of bad language is to offend, to mislead, to make people feel small, to discriminate, and to manipulate. And we all know that God is love — and in such things His presence is not found.

That is why the Word of God says:

Ephesians 4:29: Let no harmful word come out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up, according to the need of the moment, so that it may give grace to those who hear.

Ephesians 5:3–4: But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of place; instead, let there be thanksgiving.

Colossians 3:8–9: But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its evil practices.

Galatians 6:7: Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Many people believe that authority lies in vulgar words — that when a parent corrects a child, they must use bad words so the child will listen. But it is time to let go of that belief and culture, because bad words wound people and stir up anger and hatred that one day will explode.

Let us be serious and decent in our communication with everyone, for the Word of God says:

Colossians 4:5–6: Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer each person.

Do not allow bad, vulgar, or negative words to be spoken in your home, because if you belong to Christ, your home also belongs to Christ Jesus.

A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. (Proverbs 15:4).

Dood en leven liggen in de macht van de tong, en wie ervan houdt, zal de vrucht ervan eten. (Spreuken 18:21).

Slechte, grove en negatieve woorden vernederen degene die ze gebruikt. Dat betekent dat iedereen die slechte woorden spreekt, zichzelf verlaagt en een groot gebrek aan opvoeding toont.

Als je naar een lied luistert vol met slechte, grove of negatieve woorden, zing dat lied dan niet mee, want je roept negativiteit over jezelf uit. Daarom gaan dingen soms niet goed in je leven, omdat je het slechte over jezelf uitspreekt.

Als je een film kijkt die vol zit met slechte woorden, betekent dat dat je naar verkeerde dingen kijkt, want kwaad komt je leven binnen door wat je hoort en ziet.

Slechte woorden zijn de taal van de duivel. God heeft niets te maken met slechte taal. De bedoeling van slechte woorden is om te beledigen, af te leiden, mensen klein te laten voelen, te discrimineren en te manipuleren. En wij weten allemaal dat God liefde is — en in zulke dingen is Zijn aanwezigheid er niet.

Daarom zegt het Woord van God:

Efeziërs 4:29: Laat er geen schadelijk woord uit jullie mond komen, maar alleen woorden die goed zijn voor opbouw, overeenkomstig de nood van het moment, zodat ze genade geven aan wie hen hoort.

Efeziërs 5:3–4: Maar ontucht, elke vorm van onreinheid of hebzucht mag onder jullie niet eens genoemd worden, zoals het heiligen past; evenmin vuilheid, dwaze praat of grove grappen, die ongepast zijn; breng liever dankbaarheid.

Kolossenzen 3:8–9: Maar nu moeten jullie dit alles wegdoen: woede, drift, slechtheid, laster en grove taal uit jullie mond. Liegen niet tegen elkaar, nu jullie de oude mens met zijn slechte praktijken hebben afgelegd.

Galaten 6:7: Dwaal niet: God laat niet met Zich spotten, want wat een mens zaait, zal hij ook oogsten.

Veel mensen geloven dat autoriteit in grove taal zit — dat wanneer een ouder een kind corrigeert, hij of zij scheldwoorden moet gebruiken zodat het kind luistert. Maar het is tijd om van die overtuiging en cultuur af te stappen, want slechte woorden kwetsen mensen, en ze wekken woede en haat op die op een dag zal ontploffen.

Laten we serieus en fatsoenlijk communiceren met iedereen, want het Woord van God zegt:

Kolossenzen 4:5–6: Gedraag u wijs tegenover buitenstaanders en gebruik uw tijd goed. Laat uw woorden altijd aangenaam zijn, met zout gekruid, zodat u weet hoe u ieder mens moet antwoorden.

Laat geen slechte, grove of negatieve woorden gesproken worden in uw huis, want als u van Christus bent, dan is uw huis ook van Christus Jezus. Slechte woorden verwijderen de aanwezigheid van de Heilige Geest en breken de harmonie van respect en liefde die levend gehouden moet worden in uw huis. Betrek slechte taal niet in wat u doet.

Slechte woorden maken onze lippen onrein, tonen gebrek aan opvoeding, gebrek aan ontzag voor God en gebrek aan respect voor onze naaste. Slechte woorden voegen geen enkele waarde toe aan ons leven. Door slechte woorden te spreken groeien we niet, want slechte taal is dwaasheid.

Een vriendelijke tong is een boom des levens, maar verdraaide woorden breken de geest. (Spreuken 15:4).
